SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS :
The scholarship opportunity at Kibogora Polytechnic in partnership with the Ministry of Health offers several benefits, including:

1. Full Tuition Coverage: The scholarship covers the entire cost of tuition, allowing students to pursue their studies without financial worry.
2. Living Allowance: this is only offered to students studying Bachelor of Science with Honors in anesthesia, while those studying Bachelor of Science with Honors in general nursing, they are not allowed
3. Professional Training: The scholarship offers access to quality education and practical training, preparing students to become skilled health professionals.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
eligibility criteria for these scholarships included:

• Academic Qualifications: Two principal passes in Biology and Chemistry, with at least a grade C
• A2 Nurse with a minimum of 70% and at least 2 years of work experience and must have a valid license to practice.
• Educational Background: Completion of secondary education with a focus on science subjects,
1. BIOLOGY, CHEMISTRY, AND PHYSICS(PCB)
2. MATHEMATICS, CHEMISTRY AND BIOLOGY(MCB)
3. BIOLOGY, CHEMISTRY AND GEOGRAPH(BCG)

AVAILABLE PROGRAMS
The scholarship program at Kibogora Polytechnic (KP) in collaboration with Rwanda's Ministry of Health (MoH) primarily focuses on health-related courses, including:

1. Bachelor of Science with Honors in Anaesthesia
2. Bachelor of Science with Honors in Nursing

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:
The required documents for the Bachelor of Science with Honors in Midwifery and Bachelor of Science with Honors in General Nursing programs for the 2025 academic year are:

• National Exam Scores: Official results from national examinations(Diploma or results slip)
• Identification: A copy of your National ID or passport.
• colored passport photo

APPLICATION PROCEDURES:
There are three ways to apply to KIBOGORA POLYTECHNIC. You can choose the one that works best for you:

1. Online Application Portal: Open the application link given at the bottom of this page to submit your application documents (S6 Certificate and ID/Passport) online.
2. Email Submission: You can also email your application documents via email: info@kp.ac.rw
3. Hard Copy Submission: If you prefer, you can submit your documents in person to the Registrar’s office at the Kibogora Main Campus and the Rusizi Campus.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• Candidates who meet the minimum admission requirements as mentioned above will sit for the admission test scheduled on the 14th of March 2025
• The final selection of the scholarship beneficiaries will be based on the admission test score
• Students currently receiving another scholarship from the government or its partners, or who have graduated from other university-level programs, are not eligible to apply
• These scholarships target students who have graduated from senior six or its equivalent in the School year 2022-2023 and years before. Those who graduated in the school year 2023-2024 are NOT eligible to apply

APPLICATION DEADLINE:
The application deadline for Kibogora Polytechnic (KP), in collaboration with Rwanda's Ministry of Health (MoH) scholarship is 7th March 2025.
