The University of Rwanda (UR), in collaboration with the Mastercard Foundation, is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the second intake of the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program for the 2025/2026 Academic Year. This program offers full undergraduate scholarships to talented African youth who face financial, social, or cultural barriers to higher education. The opportunity targets female students pursuing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields, refugees, displaced youth, and young people with disabilities, to equip them with the skills, knowledge, and opportunities to become transformative leaders.

Through this initiative, the University of Rwanda and the Mastercard Foundation aim to enhance institutional capacity and promote inclusive and supportive pathways toward dignified employment. Scholars will benefit not only from financial assistance but also from holistic support, mentorship, leadership development, and career guidance. This is a unique chance for recent high school graduates and qualified international students to secure a place at one of Rwanda’s leading universities without having to wait an entire year, while gaining access to a globally recognized network of Mastercard Foundation Scholars.
📚Register Now for Deutsch Class at MK Deutsch Academy! Both Physical and online classes are available for your convenience
