Applications are now open for the DirectAid Scholarship 2026/2027 for vulnerable and academically promising students who wish to pursue undergraduate studies at INES-Ruhengeri. The scholarship is offered by DirectAid in partnership with INES-Ruhengeri and aims to support students from financially disadvantaged families to access higher education. Applications from different fields may be considered, with priority given to Health Sciences, Engineering and Technology, Science and Information Technology, and related fields.

SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS

Selected students will receive scholarship support to pursue undergraduate studies at INES-Ruhengeri.

The program is specifically intended to support vulnerable students with strong academic potential, particularly those from poor families.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

·       Have passed the Senior Six (S6) examinations with at least 65%.

·       Come from a financially disadvantaged/poor family.

·       Be 22 years old or younger.

·       Female applicants have an advantage during the selection process.

·       Be interested in pursuing one of the eligible undergraduate programs listed below.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

After successfully completing the online application and receiving feedback from INES-Ruhengeri, successful applicants should submit the following documents:

1.     Original National Examination Results Certificate

2.     Birth Certificate

3.     DirectAid Scholarship Application Form

4.     Residence Form signed by the Executive Secretary of the Cell, showing the applicant's poverty status

5.     Two coloured passport-size photographs

APPLICATION PROCEDURES

1.     Complete the online application using the link given at the bottom

2.     Wait for feedback from INES-Ruhengeri after the online application.

3.     Applicants who successfully proceed should prepare the required documents.

4.     Submit the hard-copy documents at INES-Ruhengeri on the dates specified below.
