Applications are now open for the University of Miami Stamps Scholarship 2027, a prestigious fully funded opportunity for exceptional high school seniors seeking to pursue an undergraduate degree in the United States. The scholarship is offered by the University of Miami in partnership with the Stamps Family Charitable Foundation. The program supports academically outstanding students and aspiring young leaders by providing financial assistance and enrichment opportunities that enable scholars to pursue their educational, research, leadership, and career goals.

SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS

Successful Stamps Scholars may receive comprehensive financial support covering the full cost of attendance, including:

·       Full tuition and applicable fees.

·       On-campus accommodation.

·       Meal plan.

·       University health insurance.

·       Textbooks.

·       Laptop allowance.

·       A $12,000 enrichment fund.

·       Funding opportunities for study-abroad programs.

·       Support for undergraduate research.

·       Support for unpaid internships and other approved educational activities.

·       Scholarship support for up to four years of undergraduate study.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Applicants must:

·       Be applying as a new undergraduate student at the University of Miami.

·       Meet the admission requirements of their intended undergraduate program.

·       Demonstrate exceptional academic achievement and potential.

·       Be international students or students from any eligible country.

·       Submit the required admission and supporting documents.

Scholarship Renewal Requirements

To retain the Stamps Scholarship, scholars must:

·       Remain enrolled as full-time undergraduate students.

·       Complete at least 12 credit hours during each fall and spring semester, totaling at least 24 credit hours per academic year.

·       Maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA for the academic year.

·       Continue meeting the University's scholarship and enrollment requirements.

The scholarship award may be revised if the student receives other grants, scholarships, or prepaid tuition or housing assistance that was not anticipated when the award was initially made.

AVAILABLE PROGRAMS

The Stamps Scholarship supports eligible undergraduate degree programs offered by the University of Miami. Applicants should select an undergraduate program that matches their academic background and interests and meet the admission requirements of that program.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

Applicants should prepare the following documents as applicable:

·       Completed University of Miami undergraduate application.

·       Academic transcripts.

·       Letter(s) of recommendation.

·       ACT/SAT scores, where required or applicable.

·       TOEFL/IELTS or other accepted English-language proficiency scores, where required.

·       Other supporting documents required for admission to the selected undergraduate program.

APPLICATION PROCEDURES

Interested applicants should apply for admission to the University of Miami through the university's official application portal.

The general process is as follows:

1.     Visit the official University of Miami undergraduate admissions and scholarship webpage.

2.     Review the Stamps Scholarship requirements and application instructions.

3.     Select an eligible undergraduate degree program.

4.     Complete and submit the University of Miami admission application before the deadline.

5.     Upload or submit all required supporting documents.

6.     Eligible applicants may be considered for the Stamps Scholarship through the university's selection process.

7.     Selected semi-finalists will be asked to respond to a predetermined essay prompt.

8.     Finalists will be selected based on their applications, supporting documents, and responses to the essay prompt.

9.     Finalists will be notified at the time of admission in late January.

10.  Finalists will subsequently be interviewed by the Stamps Family Charitable Foundation.

11.  Final scholarship announcements are expected by early March.
