ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
To be eligible for admission to the programs, applicants must meet the following requirements:

1. For the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), candidates must have completed Advanced Level Secondary Education (Senior Six) with a combination of subjects:

• Physics, Chemistry, and Biology
• Mathematics, Chemistry, and Biology
2. Applicants must have achieved at least a C in the mentioned subjects or a minimum of 70% in the 2024 National Examination results.
3. Eligible candidates must take the University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT), followed by an interview. 4. Selection for the entry exam will be based on the performances of candidates in the Advanced Level of the General Certificate of Secondary Education and the number of vacancies available in the programs.

5. Candidates must demonstrate a high level of proficiency in the English language.
6. All international applicants with foreign qualifications are required to obtain an equivalency certificate for their high school certificate from the National Examination and School Inspection Authority (NESA). APPLICATION PROCEDURES:
1. Visit the University of Rwanda website and go to the Admissions section.
2. For national applicants from 2012-2024, click on “New Application” to begin the application process.
3. International applicants or national applicants who completed Senior Six before 2012 must complete their biographical information to generate a reference number and PIN.
4. Pay the non-refundable application fee: RWF 5,000 for Rwandan and EAC applicants, or RWF 6,000 for international applicants. Payment can be made at Bank of Kigali (BK), through MTN Mobile Money, BK App, or online.
5. After payment, return to the online portal to complete your application.
6. Submit all required documents and finalize your application before the deadline.
