ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Two principal passes with at least a Grade C in Biology and Chemistry.
• Completion of secondary education with one of the following principal subject combinations:
1. Physics-Chemistry-Biology
2. Mathematics-Chemistry-Biology
3. Biology-Chemistry-Geography

• A2 Nurses with a minimum of 70% and at least 2 years of work experience with a valid license to practice.
• Graduates from 2022-2023 or earlier are eligible to apply (graduates from 2023-2024 are NOT eligible).
• Must be willing to sign a contract with the Ministry of Health and serve for a specified period after graduation.
• Applicants currently benefiting from another government-funded scholarship or those who have graduated from a university-level program are NOT eligible.

AVAILABLE PROGRAMS
• Bachelor of Science with Honours in General Nursing (A0) – 4 years, full-time program.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
• S6 Certificate
• Copy of ID or Passport

APPLICATION PROCEDURES
1. Submit your application online through the University of Gitwe Online Portal, find the Application at the bottom of this page.
2. Alternatively, submit hard copies of the required documents to the Registrar’s Office at the University of Gitwe Campus in Ruhango District, Bweramana Sector.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
• Eligible candidates will be required to sit for an admission test on March 14, 2025.
• Selection will be based on the admission test score.
• Current employees may not be eligible if their work interferes with their studies.
• Any false information or violation of the application rules will result in disqualification.
