The scholarship is offered by Institut d’Enseignement Supérieur de Ruhengeri (INES-Ruhengeri) in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, under Rwanda’s 4X4 Strategy. The initiative aims to support the training of qualified health professionals in key healthcare fields.

SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS

Selected students will receive:

·       Tuition fees coverage for the duration of the scholarship.

·       Opportunity to pursue a Bachelor of Science with Honors degree in General Nursing or Midwifery.

·       Access to higher education and professional training in the healthcare sector.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

·       Have completed General Secondary Education with one of the following principal subject combinations:

o   PCB: Physics, Chemistry and Biology

o   MCB: Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology

o   BCG: Biology, Chemistry and Geography

·       OR hold an A2 in Nursing / Associate Nursing qualification.

·       Meet the minimum admission requirements established by the Higher Education Council (HEC) and INES-Ruhengeri's institutional requirements.

AVAILABLE PROGRAMS

The scholarship is available for the following undergraduate programs:

1.     Bachelor of Science with Honors in General Nursing (A0)

2.     Bachelor of Science with Honors in Midwifery (A0)

APPLICATION PROCEDURES

Step 1: Interested candidates should apply online through the application link at the bottom

 
Step 2: Pre-selected students will take the admission test scheduled during the week of 14–18 September 2026. Shortlisted applicants will be informed of their specific test date.

Final selection will be based on the admission test score.

·       The scholarship covers tuition fees only.
