ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
A Swiss academic supervisor is required for Research Fellowship and PhD applicants. The supervisor must be willing to support and supervise the proposed research project. Applicants are responsible for finding a suitable supervisor themselves.
Applicants should carefully review the country-specific requirements because eligibility conditions, application procedures, required documents, and deadlines may differ depending on the applicant's country of origin.
The Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships are primarily intended for Research Fellowship, PhD, and Art Master's opportunities. They are not a general Bachelor's scholarship for international students who have only completed high school.
Some Swiss universities may charge tuition fees even when an applicant receives the scholarship. Applicants should therefore check the tuition-fee policy of their selected institution before applying.
