The Rwanda National Police (RNP) is inviting qualified Rwandan citizens to apply for recruitment as Junior Officers (Cadets). Online applications are open from 19 August to 31 August 2026. Eligible candidates are encouraged to apply within the application period and carefully follow all instructions provided through the official recruitment platform. The recruitment process is being conducted by the Rwanda National Police, Department of Human Resources Management, through its official E-Recruitment system. Applicants will submit their applications online through the Rwanda National Police website and are advised to consult the recruitment guidelines and instructional materials provided by the Police before completing their applications.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:

·       Be a Rwandan citizen.

·       Be aged between 18 and 25 years.

·       Hold a Bachelor's degree (A0) or an Advanced Diploma (A1) from an eligible TVET/RP institution.

·       Graduates in the following fields are particularly encouraged to apply:

o   Statistics

o   Medicine

o   Veterinary Medicine

o   Nursing

o   Education

o   Engineering

·       Have good moral character and conduct, certified by the Executive Secretary of the Sector.

·       Have never been dismissed from public service.

·       Be in good health.

·       Have never been convicted by a court and sentenced to imprisonment exceeding six months.

·       Be willing to work anywhere in Rwanda.
