Rwanda Ultimate Golf Course aims to position Rwanda as a leading golfing destination in Africa and globally. Its flagship development, Kigali Golf Resort & Villas, includes a professionally designed golf course, a five-star clubhouse, and other hospitality and recreational facilities.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Chief Steward

Applicants should have:

·       A Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Food Safety, Culinary Arts, or a related field.

·       HACCP Level 3 or equivalent certification.

·       Food Safety Manager certification.

·       Train-the-Trainer certification is an added advantage.

·       IOSH or OSHA safety certification is an advantage.

·       At least 5–7 years of experience in stewarding operations.

·       At least 2–3 years of leadership experience in a luxury five-star hotel or resort.

·       Proven experience managing HACCP systems and hygiene audits.

·       Experience with large banquet operations and multiple food outlets.

·       Strong leadership, communication, organisation, problem-solving, and food safety skills.

·       Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and hospitality systems.

Ball Boy

Applicants should have:

·       Minimum of a Secondary School Certificate (A2).

·       Previous experience in sports, hospitality, customer service, or tennis operations is an advantage.

·       Basic knowledge of tennis is desirable.

·       Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, run, and work outdoors for extended periods.

·       Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.

·       Good communication and interpersonal skills.

·       Teamwork, reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail.

·       Ability to follow instructions and maintain professional conduct.

Reports to: Health Club Manager

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Chief Steward

The Chief Steward will be responsible for:

·       Leading daily stewarding operations across kitchens, restaurants, bars, banquet facilities, and employee dining areas.

·       Ensuring availability and cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, glassware, chinaware, and silverware.

·       Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, hygiene, and food safety.

·       Developing and monitoring HACCP-based food safety systems.

·       Conducting hygiene inspections and maintaining food safety records.

·       Preparing the resort for internal, brand, and government hygiene audits.

·       Providing training on HACCP, personal hygiene, allergen awareness, chemical handling, and sanitation.

·       Managing cleaning chemicals and ensuring their safe storage and use.

·       Managing stewarding inventories and controlling equipment breakages.

·       Implementing waste segregation, recycling, and waste-reduction programmes.

·       Recruiting, training, motivating, and evaluating the stewarding team.

·       Promoting teamwork, discipline, safety, and continuous improvement.

Ball Boy

The Ball Boy will be responsible for:

·       Retrieving and distributing tennis balls during matches, tournaments, and training sessions.

·       Preparing tennis courts before activities.

·       Keeping courts clean, safe, and free from obstacles.

·       Assisting coaches during training sessions and tennis programmes.

·       Supporting members and guests with basic tennis-related requests.

·       Setting up and dismantling equipment for tournaments and events.

·       Maintaining tennis equipment such as ball baskets, nets, and scoreboards.

·       Reporting damaged equipment and safety concerns to the supervisor.

·       Maintaining adequate stocks and proper storage of tennis balls and court equipment.

·       Following health, safety, and operational procedures.

·       Supporting tennis events and other activities organised by the Club.

·       Performing other duties assigned by management.

Ball Boy Applicants

·       Copies of academic certificates and professional or other relevant training certificates.

Chief Steward Applicants
