The Higher Education Council (HEC) is inviting eligible Rwandan students to apply for scholarship opportunities at GIFT University, Gujranwala, Pakistan, for the 2026/2027 Academic Year. These scholarships are offered under the academic cooperation between the Republic of Rwanda and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The initiative aims to strengthen educational partnerships while providing Rwandan students with access to quality higher education at GIFT University.

SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS

Undergraduate Scholarships

·       Full tuition fee waiver

·       One-way air ticket to Pakistan

·       Accommodation support

Master's Degree Scholarships

·       Partial tuition fee scholarship

Note: Master's degree recipients are responsible for accommodation, living expenses, travel costs, and all other related expenses.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Undergraduate Applicants

Applicants must:

·       Be a Rwandan citizen.

·       Be 21 years of age or younger.

·       Have completed secondary education or its equivalent.

·       Possess a valid passport.

·       Meet the academic admission requirements of the chosen programme.

AVAILABLE PROGRAMS

Scholarships are available for the following programmes:

·       Data Science

·       Software Engineering

·       Textile and Fashion Design

·       Computer Science

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

Applicants should prepare the following:

·       Valid passport

·       Secondary school certificate or equivalent qualification (for undergraduate applicants)

·       Academic documents required for admission to the selected programme

·       Any additional documents requested during the online application process
