Applications are now open for qualified professionals to join Suyana Foundation in Rwanda. The organization is recruiting experienced specialists to strengthen its education, health, livelihoods, and agriculture programmes that promote sustainable community development across the country.JOIN OUR Coaching class for ALU ENGLISH TEST

Suyana Foundation is a Swiss non-profit organization founded in 2003 that implements long-term development programmes through strong local partnerships. Based in Kigali, successful candidates will work closely with national and international teams while regularly traveling to project sites across Rwanda and occasionally to Uganda to support programme implementation and regional collaboration.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Applicants should:

·       Have the legal right to work in Rwanda unless otherwise agreed by Suyana Foundation.

·       Possess relevant academic qualifications and professional experience related to the position applied for.

·       Have strong technical expertise in education, health, agriculture, livelihoods, or community development.

·       Demonstrate excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and capacity-building skills.

·       Be able to work collaboratively with government institutions, local partners, communities, and development stakeholders.

·       Be willing to travel regularly to rural project locations within Rwanda and occasionally within East Africa.

·       Have experience in programme design, implementation, monitoring, learning, and reporting.

·       Education Specialist (1 Position)

·       Livelihoods & Agriculture Specialist (1 Position)

·       Health Specialist (1 Position)

Duty Station: Kigali, Rwanda

Contract Type: Full-time Employment Contract

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Successful candidates will:

·       Support implementing partners throughout the project cycle.

·       Design, improve, and implement high-quality development programmes.

·       Conduct needs assessments, programme planning, and stakeholder consultations.

·       Build the capacity of partners through coaching, mentoring, and training.

·       Develop logical frameworks, indicators, implementation strategies, and budgets.

·       Monitor programme performance and contribute to monitoring, evaluation, learning, and research activities.

·       Strengthen collaboration with government institutions, schools, health facilities, cooperatives, community organizations, and other stakeholders.

·       Prepare concept notes, proposals, donor reports, and learning products.

·       Promote safeguarding, inclusion, gender equality, and sustainable community development.

·       Represent Suyana Foundation during technical meetings and coordination forums.

·       Support evidence-based decision-making through data collection, analysis, and reporting.
