The International Student Foundation (ISF) New Student Application for 2025 is now open! SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS :
• Financial Support: Covers tuition and approved living expenses, making your education more affordable.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Demonstrate they were orphaned or in foster care and are not currently adopted or supported by a parent or legal guardian.
• Possess strong moral character and a willingness to learn.
• Plan to be a full-time undergraduate student in the upcoming academic year.
• Maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
• Be 23 years of age or less by April 30th of the application year.
• Have submitted the FAFSA application (if eligible).
• Commit to the ISF mentoring program (twice-monthly phone conversations).
• Demonstrate a commitment to personal growth and leadership development.

AVAILABLE PROGRAMS :
The ISF scholarship supports students pursuing undergraduate degrees. It does not typically cover graduate programs (like master's or doctoral degrees). So, if you're planning to start or continue your bachelor's degree, this scholarship could be a good fit. Here are some fields of study, such as:

• Arts
• Sciences
• Engineering
• Business

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:
• Completed application form and essay.
• Most recent transcript.
• Proof of FAFSA submission (if eligible).
• Digital photo.
• Documentation or letter confirming foster care or ward of the state status (prior to age 18).
• Student Financial Award letter from your school (if available, can be provided later).
• Recommendation letter from a teacher or another adult.

APPLICATION PROCEDURES :
• Complete the attached application form and the required essay.
• Apply supporting documents
• Submit all materials by the application deadline.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
• Applications are accepted year-round, but the deadline for consideration for the following school year is April 30th.
• Financial awards are paid directly to the academic institution.
