ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

·       Hold a Diploma or Certificate in Transport Management, Mechanics, Logistics, or a related field.

·       Have at least 2 years of experience in fleet operations, fleet management, or depot operations.

·       Knowledge of daily fleet routines and depot operations.

·       Ability to conduct vehicle inspections and identify defects.

·       Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills.

·       Good problem-solving and communication skills.

·       Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel and fleet tracking systems.

·       Familiarity with GPS systems and vehicle safety inspections is an added advantage.

Depot Fleet Officers

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Successful candidates will:

·       Monitor daily bus availability and ensure buses are ready for dispatch.

·       Assist with the daily dispatch of buses to assigned routes.

·       Conduct and verify daily safety and cleanliness inspections.

·       Report technical faults and coordinate with the maintenance team.

·       Maintain records of departures, returns, mileage, fuel usage, and downtime.

·       Prepare and submit daily fleet availability and performance reports.

·       Coordinate with drivers, mechanics, and depot staff to ensure smooth operations.

·       Report operational delays, security incidents, or unauthorized vehicle use.

·       Monitor and help prevent theft and fuel misuse at the depot.

·       Support efficient and safe depot operations in line with company standards.
