ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

To be eligible for the Control Room Operator position, applicants must meet the following requirements:

·       Hold a Diploma or Degree in Transport Management, ICT, or a related field

·       Have at least 2 years of experience in transport monitoring, dispatch, or control room operations

·       Possess strong integrity, vigilance, and attention to detail

·       Be familiar with GPS tracking systems, fare collection systems, and reporting tools

·       Have the ability to identify patterns, irregularities, and suspicious operational behavior

·       Demonstrate basic IT skills, especially in Excel and control room software

·       Have strong communication and incident-reporting skills

·       Experience with fleet tracking tools and fare collection systems will be an added advantage

·       Job Title: Control Room Operator

·       Job Type: Full-time

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Control Room Operator will be responsible for monitoring bus operations in real time, with a strong focus on operational compliance and prevention of revenue theft. Key duties and responsibilities include:

·       Monitoring real-time bus movements using GPS and surveillance systems

·       Detecting and flagging fare evasion, ticket fraud, and undeclared earnings

·       Identifying suspicious route deviations, prolonged stops, skipped trips, and other operational irregularities

·       Alerting field inspectors to verify and follow up on suspected revenue leakage or misconduct

·       Maintaining accurate logs of incidents, irregularities, and potential fraud cases

·       Preparing daily reports highlighting revenue concerns, route violations, and driver conduct

·       Supporting investigations into financial misconduct with proper documentation and evidence

·       Coordinating with relevant teams to improve compliance, accountability, and operational efficiency
