RAB is a public institution responsible for promoting agricultural and animal resource development through research, innovation, and effective resource management. The available positions are aimed at strengthening institutional governance, enhancing financial oversight, and advancing climate-smart agriculture practices across the country.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Applicants must meet the academic qualifications, professional experience requirements, and technical competencies specified for their preferred position.

Internal Auditor Specialist

·       Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting, or Finance with at least 5 years of relevant experience; or

·       Master's Degree in Finance, Economics, Management, or Accounting with at least 3 years of relevant experience.

·       Possession of at least one of the following professional certifications:

o   Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)

o   Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)

o   Accounting professional qualification recognized by IFAC (ACCA, CPA, etc.)

Value Chain and Climate Smart Agriculture Technical Advisor

·       Bachelor's Degree in Crop Production, Food Security and Nutrition, or Agriculture Science with at least 8 years of relevant experience; or

·       Master's Degree in Food Security and Nutrition, Crop Production, or Agriculture Science.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Internal Auditor Specialist

·       Develop and implement annual audit programs for human resource management and financial transactions.

·       Evaluate internal control systems and recommend improvements.

·       Identify and prevent fraudulent, illegal, or unethical activities.

·       Review financial statements and provide professional opinions.

·       Monitor budget implementation and compliance with financial procedures.

·       Audit production management, stock management, sales reports, and institutional assets.

·       Conduct procurement audits covering planning, tendering, contract management, and compliance.

·       Ensure proper maintenance and filing of procurement records.

·       Support the implementation of recommendations from internal and external audit reports.

Value Chain and Climate Smart Agriculture Technical Advisor

·       Support overall project implementation and sustainability.

·       Provide technical leadership in agroforestry and agricultural value chains.

·       Lead diagnostic studies to identify interventions that enhance climate resilience and market opportunities.

·       Oversee establishment and management of pilot sites.

·       Design and deliver training-of-trainers (ToT) programs for facilitators and farmer leaders.

·       Provide technical guidance and field support to project beneficiaries.

·       Document best practices and develop policy briefs.

·       Represent the project in relevant policy and stakeholder forums.

·       Ensure effective project resource management and budget execution.

·       Prepare technical reports and monitor project performance.
