Ubudasa Sacco Bugesera (USB) is a District Savings and Credit Cooperative (D-SACCO) established through the consolidation of fifteen Umurenge SACCOs operating in Bugesera District. To strengthen institutional governance, operational efficiency, compliance, risk management, and service delivery, USB is inviting applications from qualified, competent, committed, and self-motivated candidates to fill several vacant positions. Both internal and external candidates are encouraged to apply.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Applicants must meet the specific requirements for the position they are applying for. Generally, candidates should:

·       Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in a relevant field.

·       Possess the required professional experience related to the position.

·       Demonstrate strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

·       Have good knowledge of banking, microfinance, compliance, audit, risk management, IT, or business operations depending on the position.

·       Meet the age requirements where applicable.

·       Provide proof of previous work experience through certificates of service rendered.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Successful candidates will be responsible for duties including:

·       Conducting internal audits and ensuring compliance with regulations and institutional policies.

·       Monitoring risk management and internal control systems.

·       Supporting branch operations, sales, marketing, and customer service activities.

·       Managing and maintaining IT infrastructure, software, networks, and Core Banking Systems.

·       Preparing reports, audit plans, compliance reviews, and operational assessments.

·       Promoting efficient use of institutional resources and safeguarding organizational assets.

·       Ensuring adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and cooperative governance principles.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

·       Motivation Letter addressed to the Chairperson of the Board of Directors.

·       Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV) with at least three professional referees and their contact details.

·       Copies of certified academic degrees and certificates.

·       Copy of National ID.

·       Certificates of service rendered or proof of relevant work experience.

·       Professional certificates where applicable.

·       Any other supporting documents demonstrating relevant competencies and experience.
