SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

To be eligible for the SOAS Sustainable Development Goal Scholarship, applicants must:

·       Be applying for a taught Master's degree program at SOAS University of London.

·       Show academic excellence and leadership potential.

·       Meet the admission requirements of their chosen program.

·       Be a home or international student from any country.

AVAILABLE PROGRAMS

The scholarship is available for students enrolling in any taught Master's program at SOAS University of London that includes content related to one or more of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

Applicants should prepare the following documents:

·       Completed online admission application.

·       Academic transcripts and certificates.

·       Personal statement.

·       Scholarship application form through the admissions portal.

·       Any additional documents required by the chosen Master's program.

APPLICATION PROCEDURES

Interested applicants should follow these steps:

1.     Apply for admission to an eligible Master's program at SOAS University of London.

2.     Obtain login credentials for the SOAS admissions portal.

3.     Access the scholarship application through the admissions portal.

4.     Complete and submit the scholarship application before the deadline.

5.     Ensure all required documents and information are submitted accurately.

Applicants who do not find the scholarship in their admissions portal should verify their eligibility and contact scholarships@soas.ac.uk for assistance.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

·       Four scholarships are available for the 2026/27 academic year.

·       Applications must be submitted by 12:00 noon (UK local time).

·       Candidates will be assessed based on academic merit and the relevance of their studies to sustainability goals.

·       The selection panel will review academic achievements, degree results, personal statements, and other supporting information.

·       Shortlisting and award decisions are expected to be completed from July 2026.

·       Successful candidates will be notified first, followed by notifications to unsuccessful applicants once all awards have been allocated.
