ABAHIZI SACCO NGOMA serves as the Head Office of all Umurenge SACCOs in Ngoma District following their merger in September 2025. Registered under RCA Certificate No. RGDG013327 and licensed by the National Bank of Rwanda (BNR), the institution is committed to promoting professionalism, accountability, and sustainable financial services across the district.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Applicants must meet the qualifications and experience requirements relevant to the position they are applying for.

Procurement & Logistics Officer

·       Bachelor's Degree in Procurement & Supplies Management, Management, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.

·       Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in procurement, logistics, supply chain management, or related fields.

·       Professional procurement qualification is an added advantage.

·       Strong planning, organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills.

·       Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Head of Internal Audit and Compliance

·       Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; OR a Bachelor's Degree in a related field with at least ten (10) years of senior management experience in Microfinance or Banking.

·       Minimum of five (5) years of experience in internal audit and compliance.

·       Professional auditing certification is highly recommended.

·       Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and risk management skills.

·       Fluency in English; knowledge of French is an added advantage.

Internal Auditor

·       Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.

·       Minimum of three (3) years of auditing experience with strong knowledge of microfinance banking and accounting practices.

·       Professional auditing qualification is an added advantage.

·       Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.

·       Advanced computer skills, including MS Office and Core Banking Software.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Head of Internal Audit and Compliance

·       Lead and oversee the Internal Audit and Compliance Department.

·       Develop and implement audit plans and internal control systems.

·       Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.

·       Advise management on risk management and governance matters.

·       Submit audit and compliance reports to relevant authorities.

·       Monitor implementation of resolutions and regulatory directives.

Internal Auditor

Prepare and implement risk-based audit plans.

Review financial and operational processes for compliance.

Conduct audits and investigations to identify risks and irregularities.

Evaluate internal controls and resource utilization.

Review loan files and operational procedures.

Prepare periodic audit reports and recommendations.

Procurement & Logistics Officer

·       Develop and implement procurement plans and strategies.

·       Conduct market research and manage procurement processes.

·       Prepare tender documents and coordinate tender evaluations.

·       Negotiate procurement contracts and manage supplier relationships.

·       Ensure proper inventory management and stock control.

·       Monitor procurement compliance and report procurement activities.

·       Coordinate delivery, transportation, and logistics operations.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

·       Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV) with at least three (3) professional referees and their contact details.

·       Copies of academic degrees and certificates.

·       Copy of National ID.

·       Certificates of service or previous employment certificates proving relevant experience.

·       Professional certificates and academic transcripts.

·       Any other supporting documents demonstrating competencies and experience.
