The GCUB International Mobility Program is promoted by the International Cooperation Group of Brazilian Universities with the support of the Instituto Guimarães Rosa of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brazil. The initiative aims to strengthen international academic cooperation, promote university internationalization, and support the development of highly qualified students from different continents. More than 880 scholarships will be offered by 55 Brazilian universities for programs beginning in 2026.

SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS

Successful applicants for the Group of Brazilian Universities Scholarship 2026 will receive:

·       Full exemption from enrollment, tuition, and academic fees

·       Monthly stipends to cover living expenses throughout the study period

·       Up to USD 1,500 support for airfare, visa processing, international medical insurance, and personal expenses for students from OSC member states

·       Free application submission

·       Access to university restaurants

·       Access to libraries, laboratories, and other university facilities

·       Opportunity to study at recognized Brazilian universities

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

To qualify for the GCUB Scholarship 2026, applicants must:

·       Be citizens of countries that maintain diplomatic relations with Brazil

·       Not be Brazilian nationals

·       Submit complete applications in English, Portuguese, French, or Spanish

·       Meet the language requirements of the selected graduate programs

·       Be prepared to finance expenses not fully covered by the scholarship

·       Submit all required educational documents

·       Apply for up to five Master’s or Doctoral programs at different universities

AVAILABLE PROGRAMS

The scholarship supports postgraduate studies in:

·       Master’s Degree Programs

·       Doctoral (PhD) Degree Programs

Programs are offered across various academic disciplines by 55 participating Brazilian universities.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

Applicants must prepare and submit the following documents:

·       Completed Application Form

·       Copy of Passport or National Identity Document

·       Curriculum Vitae (CV)

·       Copies of academic certificates, diplomas, transcripts, and degrees

·       Essay prepared according to the required structure:

o   Font: Times New Roman

o   Font Size: 12

o   Line spacing: 1.5 cm

o   Margins: 2.5 cm on all sides
