ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

·       Open to applicants from all countries

·       Must demonstrate English language proficiency

·       Must apply for a Higher Degree by Research (HDR) program at the University of Sydney

·       Applicants must commence full-time enrollment in an HDR program

·       Research must align with the university’s current or emerging research strengths

·       Must not have received an Australia Award scholarship within the last two years before starting the RTP scholarship

·       Must not previously have received an RTP Fee Scholarship unless for a completed master’s by research degree

·       PhD applicants must not hold a qualification equivalent to an Australian Research Doctorate

·       Research master’s applicants must not hold a qualification equivalent to or higher than an Australian Research Master’s degree

·       Applicants must not have been considered for the scholarship more than three times in the last five years

·       Applicants must not receive another scholarship substantially funded by the Australian government covering tuition fees
