Akagera Management Company (AMC), established through a partnership between African Parks and the Rwanda Development Board (RDB), is inviting qualified and motivated candidates to apply for several temporary hospitality positions at Akagera National Park.Register now for new programs at MK SCHOLARS

The recruitment is intended to support the AP Mobile Camp, which will host various African Parks programmes and events including leadership workshops, conservation trainings, and management meetings. Successful candidates will work on a short-term contract basis depending on the operational duration of the camp.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Interested applicants must meet the following requirements:

·       Relevant experience in hospitality, housekeeping, food preparation, cleaning services, or customer service

·       Technical skills with good problem-solving ability

·       Ability to work independently and within a team

·       Good communication and interpersonal skills

·       Ability to work in a fast-paced camp environment

·       Competence in English or French (knowledge of both is an added advantage)

·       Must be of Rwandan nationality

·       Possession of a valid Certificate of Good Conduct

·       Previous experience in hotels, lodges, camps, restaurants, or tourism and hospitality operations is an added advantage

·       Housekeepers (7 Positions)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Successful candidates will be responsible for supporting the operations of the AP Mobile Camp through hospitality and customer service activities, including:

·       Food preparation and kitchen support

·       Serving guests and maintaining customer satisfaction

·       Housekeeping and cleaning services

·       Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness standards

·       Supporting camp operations and guest experience

·       Working collaboratively with other staff members

·       Ensuring professional conduct and quality service delivery
