ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Applicants must meet the following requirements depending on the position:

1. Educational Psychologist Teacher

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, Psycho-pedagogy, or Educational Psychology

·       No prior work experience required

2. Career Guidance and Industrial Liaison Teacher

·       Advanced Diploma (A1) in relevant fields such as Computer Science, Engineering, Construction, Agriculture, Tourism, IT, Renewable Energy, and others listed

·       No prior work experience required

Required Competencies (for both positions):

·       Knowledge of the TVET system

·       Strong communication skills

·       High sense of responsibility and integrity

·       Psychological and interpersonal skills (where applicable)

AVAILABLE POSITIONS

·       Educational Psychologist Teacher

·       Career Guidance and Industrial Liaison Teacher

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Educational Psychologist Teacher:

·       Conduct assessments to identify learning disabilities and emotional or developmental challenges

·       Provide individual and group therapeutic interventions

·       Advise teachers and school leadership on student support strategies

·       Deliver staff training on mental health and special education

·       Support planning for special needs education programs

·       Collaborate with parents and teachers on student progress

·       Guide students in career development

·       Perform additional assigned duties

Career Guidance and Industrial Liaison Teacher:

·       Build and maintain partnerships with employers and industry stakeholders

·       Facilitate internships, apprenticeships, and work-based learning

·       Align training programs with industry standards

·       Represent the institution in external engagements

·       Coordinate career events, industry visits, and job placements

·       Manage agreements and partnerships (MoUs)

·       Monitor student progress in fieldwork

·       Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

·       Handle reporting and documentation

·       Perform additional assigned duties
