Applications are now open for the KAIST University Fully Funded Graduate Scholarships 2026 for international students who wish to pursue postgraduate studies in South Korea. SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS

·       Annual stipend of up to $21,000

·       Monthly stipend of up to 2,500,000 KRW

Scholarship Duration:

·       Master’s Degree: 2 years

·       PhD Degree: 4 years

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

To qualify for the KAIST University Graduate Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

·       Applicants must be international students (non-Korean citizens).

·       Candidates applying for a Master’s degree must hold a Bachelor’s degree or expect to graduate by August 31, 2026.

·       Candidates applying for a PhD degree must hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher or expect to graduate by August 31, 2026.

·       Final-year undergraduate students may apply if they will graduate before September 2026.

·       Applicants must meet the English language proficiency requirements, unless exempt.

 

AVAILABLE PROGRAMS

The KAIST Graduate Scholarship supports a wide range of academic programs including:

·       Science

·       Engineering

·       Technology

·       Innovation and Entrepreneurship

·       Interdisciplinary graduate programs

Students can apply for Master’s, PhD, or Integrated Master’s-PhD programs at KAIST.

·       Completed KAIST Online Application Form

·       Previous Degree Certificates

·       Academic Transcripts

·       Letter of Recommendation

·       Copy of Passport

·       Curriculum Vitae (CV)

·       Personal Statement

·       English Proficiency Test Results (if required)

·       National Identity documents of both parents

English Test Exemption:
Applicants are exempt from submitting English proficiency test results if:

·       They are citizens of English-native speaking countries, or

·       They completed their previous degree in an English-speaking country.
