We are seeking three dedicated interns to support an important research initiative aimed at understanding the career pathways available to Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) graduates. INTERNSHIP BENEFITS

·       20 working days internship:

1.     7 days of preparation before data collection

2.     8 days of data collection

3.     5 days of data analysis support

·       Travel and accommodation expenses covered during fieldwork

·       Payment of:

1.     15,000 RWF per day for training and office work

2.     25,000 RWF per day for fieldwork days

·       Hands-on experience in research, interviewing, and data analysis

·       Professional exposure to a leading international research firm

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

·       Graduated from a secondary TVET school after January 1st, 2024

·       Strong interpersonal and communication skills

·       Compassionate and comfortable engaging with students and graduates

·       Ability to work independently after training

·       Basic knowledge of Excel or willingness to learn

·       Ability to communicate in French or English (an advantage)

·       No prior interviewing experience required

AVAILABLE POSITIONS

·       Three (3) Internship Positions

·       Location: Kigali (with travel to Kigali, Musanze, and Nyanza districts)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The selected interns will support the project in three key areas:

1.     Preparation Phase

a.     Assist in preparing interview questions before visiting TVET schools

2.     Data Collection Phase

a.     Participate in school visits every Friday and Saturday from March 13th to April 3rd

b.     Conduct interviews with TVET students about their school experiences and future career aspirations

3.     Post-Interview Phase

a.     Help analyze interview responses

b.     Identify and summarize key themes emerging from the data
