The scholarship is offered through a partnership between the Mastercard Foundation and Arizona State University to equip African youth with technological, entrepreneurial, and leadership skills needed to drive sustainable development. The program aims to support hundreds of young adults across Africa between 2024 and 2030 through education, training, and innovation-focused learning pathways.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Applicants must:

·        Meet Arizona State University admission requirements

·        Be an African citizen aged 18–33

·        Demonstrate leadership potential, community service, and academic excellence

·        Have completed an undergraduate degree by July 2026

·        Not have started or completed any graduate degree

·        Be committed to ethical leadership and community engagement

·        Be able to reside in Rwanda for the program duration

AVAILABLE PROGRAMS
Scholarships are available for the following part-time, online graduate certificate programs:

·        Graduate Certificate in Foundations of Supply Chain Management

·        Graduate Certificate in Global Management, Entrepreneurship and Innovation

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
·  Curriculum Vitae (CV) / Resume

·  Academic transcripts (undergraduate)

·  Bachelor’s degree certificate (if already graduated)

·  Motivation letter / personal statement

·  At least one recommendation letter (academic or professional)

·  Copy of passport or national ID

·  Proof of English proficiency (only if ASU requires it for admission)
