JOB OPPORTUNITIES IN GASABO (Motorcycle)
Gasabo District (GASABO) is pleased to invite qualified, competent, and motivated candidates to apply for the position of Motorcycle Driver. A total of twelve (12) contract-based positions are available and will be deployed across health facilities within the district.REGISTER NOW for new programs at MK SCHOLARS
The Motorcycle Driver will play a critical role in supporting health service delivery by ensuring safe and timely transportation of medical supplies, laboratory samples, healthcare staff, and supporting outreach and emergency health activities under the supervision of Health Center management.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
· Possession of a valid Driving License Category A
· Minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience
· O-Level (Secondary School Certificate)
· Must be physically fit and able to work in different field conditions
· Good understanding of road safety regulations

· Motorcycle Driver – 12 Positions
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Motorcycle Driver will be responsible for the following duties:
· Transport medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, and laboratory samples between healthcare facilities
· Safely transport healthcare staff to outreach points and remote locations
· Ensure timely delivery of supplies according to set schedules
· Provide emergency transport of patients’ medications when required
· Ensure the motorcycle is properly equipped with medical or emergency tools
· Perform basic motorcycle maintenance (oil checks, tire pressure, brakes, etc.)
· Report technical issues to the Transport/Logistics Coordinator
· Maintain accurate daily records of trips, fuel consumption, and maintenance
· Submit weekly or monthly transport reports and incident reports
· Strictly adhere to road safety rules and best driving practices
· Wear required safety gear at all times (helmet, reflective jacket, etc.)
· Support community health campaigns, outreach programs, and mobile clinics
· Coordinate closely with healthcare teams for outreach activities
· Ensure all motorcycle registration and licensing documents are valid and up to date
· Assist with logistical duties within the health facility when required
· Perform any other transport-related tasks assigned by the supervisor

· Proof of relevant work experience
