·        Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with CPA/CPFA/CPFM Intermediate Level or ACCA Foundation Level (completion of ACCA Applied Skills papers)

·        Bachelor’s Degree in Economics with at least Foundation Level of one of the following: CPA, CIA, CPFA, CPFM, or ACCA (Applied Knowledge), or Stage Two of CAT/API Certificate

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Accountant will report to the Director of Administration and Finance Unit and will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:

·        Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records

·        Preparing financial statements and reports in accordance with applicable standards

·        Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes

·        Ensuring compliance with financial regulations, policies, and procedures

·        Assisting in internal and external audits

·        Managing and monitoring financial resources effectively

·        Supporting the implementation and use of financial management systems

·        Performing any other related duties as may be assigned
