ASA International (Rwanda) Plc (ASA Rwanda) is a for-profit, deposit-taking microfinance institution licensed by the National Bank of Rwanda. Established in 2014 and operational since 2016, ASA Rwanda currently serves thousands of small business owners through loans and savings across 37 branches nationwide. The institution is a subsidiary of ASA International, a global microfinance organization listed on the London Stock Exchange and operating in 13 countries across Africa and Asia. ASA Rwanda’s mission is to reduce poverty and empower low-income entrepreneurs, particularly women, through sustainable financial solutions.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To qualify for the Branch Manager position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Possess a minimum of 3 years’ experience in microfinance or branch-level operations.
• Demonstrate strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Be proficient in MS Office and loan management systems (AMBS preferred).
• Exhibit high integrity, professionalism, and commitment to customer service.
• Be willing to travel and work in field environments regularly.
AVAILABLE POSITION
• Position Title: Branch Manager
• Work Base: Field Station
• Branch Locations: Kigali City, Western, Eastern, Southern, and Northern Provinces
• Contract Type: Open-ended
• Expected Start Date: Any time
• Reporting To: Area Manager
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Branch Manager will oversee branch operations, ensuring efficiency, growth, and client satisfaction. Key responsibilities include:
1. Branch & Office Management:
. Secure and manage office premises, supplies, and branch visibility.
. Maintain cleanliness, staff accommodation, and proper documentation.
2. Human Resource Management:
. Supervise and motivate staff, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with HR policies.
. Oversee recruitment, leave approvals, and staff training.
3. Operational Oversight:
. Supervise loan disbursements, savings withdrawals, and client account management.
. Approve loans after field and income verification.
. Ensure compliance with credit and financial policies.
4. Monitoring & Reporting:
. Conduct regular field visits to client groups.
. Monitor overdue clients and support debt recovery.
. Submit accurate operational and financial reports to the head office.
5. Administrative & Financial Duties:
. Manage funds, cash flow, and branch expenditures.
. Oversee IT systems, ensure data accuracy, and maintain strong public relations with stakeholders.
