The Arizona State University (ASU), MasterCard Foundation Scholarship 2026 is a fully funded opportunity for African students who wish to pursue graduate education while developing leadership and professional skills. Arizona State University (ASU), based in the United States, is one of the world’s leading public research universities, widely recognized for its innovation, excellence in online learning, and global outreach. Through its partnership with the MasterCard Foundation and Kepler College in Rwanda, ASU is offering African students the chance to earn internationally respected graduate degrees online. Kepler College serves as the in-person support hub in Rwanda, providing mentorship, academic assistance, and community engagement activities to complement ASU’s rigorous online curriculum.

SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS
Successful applicants will receive a comprehensive scholarship package that includes:
• Full tuition fees for the entire two-year graduate program.
• Accommodation and living support throughout the program.
• Individual mentorship, leadership development opportunities, and access to enriching events.
• A 2-month internship between the first and second year, aligned with the student’s field of study.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered:
• Be an African citizen between the ages of 18 and 33.
• Meet Arizona State University’s admissions requirements.
• Demonstrate leadership, community service, and strong academic performance.
• Have earned an undergraduate degree by July 2026.
• Not have started or completed any other graduate degree.
• Commit to residing in Rwanda for the duration of the program.

• MS Global Technology and Development
• MSE Sustainable Engineering
• MS Information Technology
• MS Business Analytics
• MEd Learning Design and Technologies

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
Applicants will need to prepare and submit:
• Academic transcripts and proof of an undergraduate degree (or confirmation of pending completion).
• A detailed curriculum vitae (CV)/ RESUME.
• Letters of recommendation highlighting leadership and academic achievements.
• A personal statement explaining career goals, leadership experience, and community engagement.
• Proof of nationality and age (e.g., passport, national ID card).
• Proof of English Proficiency (Optional)
