Applications are now open for the University of Sydney Scholarships 2025–26 in Australia. These prestigious and fully funded opportunities are available to both domestic and international students pursuing Master’s by Research and Doctoral (PhD) degrees, with limited offers available for exceptional undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students. The scholarships aim to support academically outstanding individuals who demonstrate strong research potential or leadership qualities, and who wish to study at one of the world’s leading universities.

SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS
• Full tuition fee coverage.
• Annual living stipend (approx. USD 27,364).
• Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC).

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
• Must be applying for or enrolled in a Master’s by Research or PhD program (HDR).
• Must have an excellent academic record and strong research potential.
• Must not have previously received an equivalent Australian Government scholarship for the same level of study.
• International students must have a valid student visa and meet English language requirements.
• For undergraduate scholarship:
o Must be an international student (not a citizen or permanent resident of Australia or New Zealand).
o Must have applied for a single undergraduate degree at the University of Sydney.
o Must not have undertaken prior tertiary study.
o Must be starting full-time study at the university.
• For equity-based scholarship (coursework):
o Must be an international student endorsed by a partner organization.
o Must demonstrate financial need, academic merit, and community involvement.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
• Proof of admission or offer letter from the University of Sydney.
• Academic transcripts from previous studies (certified copies).
• Curriculum Vitae (CV) or resume.
• Personal statement or scholarship statement of purpose.
• Research proposal (for research degrees like Master’s by Research or PhD).
• Evidence of English language proficiency (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL scores).
• Two or more academic or professional reference letters.
• Passport or proof of identity (for international applicants).
• Evidence of any prior scholarships or awards.
• Any additional documents specified by the specific scholarship (e.g., equity evidence, partner organization endorsement).
APPLICATION PROCEDURES
1. Apply for Admission:
• Submit your application for your chosen degree program at the University of Sydney Here. .
• Wait to receive an official offer letter of admission.
2. Create a Scholarship Application Account:
• Visit the University of Sydney Scholarships portal using the link at the bottom.
• Register or log in with your student credentials.
3. Complete the Scholarship Application Form:
• Fill out all required fields accurately.
• Indicate the scholarship(s) you are applying for.
4. Prepare Required Documents:
• Admission offer letter from the University of Sydney.
• Academic transcripts.
• Curriculum Vitae (CV) or resume.
• Personal statement or scholarship statement of purpose.
• Research proposal.
• English language test scores (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL).
• Reference letters.
• Other documents as specified.
5. Upload Documents:
• Upload scanned copies of all required documents in the scholarship portal.
6. Review and Submit Application:
• Double-check all information and documents.
• Submit your completed scholarship application before the deadline.
7. Await Outcome:
• Monitor your email and scholarship portal for updates or requests for additional information.
