Are you a high-performing student dreaming of studying in the United States? The EducationUSA Program 2025–2026 is now open for applications. This program supports talented Rwandan students who aim to join top U.S. colleges. Once selected, students benefit from intensive training and support to help them succeed in their U.S. university applications. The support includes preparation for exams like SAT and Duolingo, full payment of exam fees, and guidance with completing the CSS Profile (which is used for financial aid applications in U.S. colleges).

This program is run in partnership with the U.S. Embassy Kigali, EducationUSA, and iDebate Rwanda. EducationUSA is a U.S. government program that offers accurate, current, and comprehensive information about studying in the United States. iDebate Rwanda is a local organization that promotes education and leadership through public speaking and debate. SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS
After passing the pre-selection stage and successfully completing an interview, selected candidates will be admitted into the program and benefit from the following:

• Training for SAT exams
• Training for the Duolingo English Test
• Payment of SAT and Duolingo exam fees
• Assistance in U.S. university applications, including payment of the CSS Profile

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
To apply, you must:

• Have graduated from high school in 2023 or 2024
• Have an average grade of 70% or above throughout high school
• Have studied one of the following combinations in high school:
EFK, ELG, EKK, HEG, HGL, HEL, HKL, LEG, HLP, PCM, PCB, MCB, MPG, MPC, BCG, MCE, MEG

AVAILABLE PROGRAMS:
This opportunity is open for students interested in pursuing undergraduate studies (Bachelor’s degree) in the United States. Fields of study are not limited, as long as you qualify academically.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:
When applying, make sure to upload the following documents:

• High School Transcripts
• National Exam Results
• Any other Certificates awarded
