ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

• Must be classified as an international (overseas) fee-paying student.
• Must be applying to study a full-time undergraduate degree at Abertay University in Dundee.
• Must be starting your first undergraduate degree (cannot already hold a UK undergraduate degree).
• Must meet or exceed the academic conditions of your offer (usually based on high school or equivalent results).
• Must be studying on campus in Dundee (not available for distance learning, online courses, or time abroad/placement years).
• Students entering directly into advanced years (e.g., Year 2 or Year 3) are also eligible if all other criteria are met.
• Cannot combine this scholarship with other specific Abertay-funded scholarships (such as IB30 Scholarship or Saltire Scholarships).

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:

• Academic transcripts showing your previous qualifications (e.g., high school diploma, A levels, IB results, or equivalent).
• Personal statement explaining why you want to study at Abertay, your academic interests, and career goals.
• Proof of English language proficiency (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL, or other accepted test) – if English is not your first language.
• Copy of your passport photo page (needed for international student identification and visa process).
• Reference letter(s) (sometimes required, usually from a teacher or school counsellor, confirming your academic ability).
• Curriculum Vitae (CV) / résumé – optional but recommended, especially if you have extracurricular or work experience relevant to your course.
• Portfolio of work – only if applying to creative/design programs (e.g., art, architecture, game design).

APPLICATION PROCEDURES:

• Choose your undergraduate course at Abertay University.
• Check eligibility and entry requirements for international students.
• Prepare required documents.
• Submit your application via UCAS or Abertay’s online application portal Using the link at the bottom.
• Write a strong personal statement explaining your motivation.
• Wait for the university’s offer (conditional or unconditional).
• Your application is automatically considered for the scholarship, no separate form needed.
• Accept your offer through UCAS or Abertay portal.
• Apply for a student visa if required.
• Enrol full-time and start your course; scholarship applies directly to tuition fees.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• The scholarship cannot be combined with certain other Abertay scholarships or bursaries.
• Only studies undertaken on campus in Dundee are eligible; distance or online learning does not qualify.
